Tjong A Hung Accountants and Consultants is a professional multidisciplinary organisation, with an extensive network of Registered Accountants, IT auditors and fiscal and legal advisors.
The company started on 4 December 1978 and initially only provided accounting and audit services. Following the growing demand in the market for different other related services, the accountancy firm transformed into a multidisciplinary firm in the following years. Today, TAH Accountants and Consultants is a certified member of Santa Fe Associates International (SFAI), an international network of accountancy and consultancy firms.
We are very proud to be the largest accountancy and consultancy firm in Suriname that is fully of Surinamese origin. Our client base is highly diversified and has provided us with extensive experience in the audit of different large and small companies in different sectors of the private and public sector and the audit of organisations with social objectives.
For us, quality and guaranteeing the continuity of the service provision absolutely come first. All members of our team are equipped with appropriate training, exhaustive experience and closely follow the trends and developments in their area of expertise. In addition, the accountants who work with TAH Accountants and Consultants are registered with both the Dutch and the Surinamese professional body for accountants. As such, we must comply with international rules and guidelines when we execute audit assignments as well as other assignments.
To guarantee the continuity of our activities, we have organised our firm in such a way that in case one of our team members should unexpectedly become unavailable, we can provide for adequate replacement at all times. Furthermore, we have a team in place within our firm consisting of chartered accountants and accountants in training to ensure consultative meetings regarding issues that may emerge during the implementation of our work activities can be held in a timely and flexible manner, without these consultations having an adverse effect on the lead time of our audit assignment.
